Pain is a very personal experience that varies from person to person. What feels very painful to one person may only feel like mild pain to another. Other factors, such as your emotional state and overall physical health, can play a big role in how you feel pain. Let's face it. Pain is, well... a pain. On August 26th, Integrative Lifestyle Coach Irina Sharma and Osteopath Youssef Youssef will engage in a conversation on how pain can make you feel like you have no control over your own life. Pain comes in many different forms and stems from numerous causes. A number of different factors including sleep, exercise, mood, ill health, abdominal obesity, and genetics can ‘pre-sensitize’ our tissues to be more vulnerable to pain and injury.

No Pain: How to reconstruct your body to recover faster, sleep better, move better, and have more energy all day.

All Gain: Better Health - Pain can start without a clear cause. This is referred to as ‘non-specific’ pain. Non-specific means there is no concerning injury or pathology – this does not mean it is not real or that there is nothing that can be done about it! A number of different factors (including sleep, exercise, mood, ill health, abdominal obesity, and genetics) can ‘pre-sensitize’ our tissues to be more vulnerable to pain and injury.

During this event, you will learn about:

Irina Sharma is the Co- curator of LiveWell with Nakheel and Host & Co-Founder of Wellevate Life Podcast, a platform that helps build healthier communities. She holds a Diploma in Nutrition, Health & Lifestyle Coach and was trained under Prof. Dr. Harald Stossier from VIVAMAYR Academy. As a coach, her focus is the relationship between nutrition, health & disease. Her work as a health and wellness cultivator in complimentary medicine, environment & movement acts as a fundamental tool that assist in the task of preventing disease and striving for healthy communities.

She has spent her last 20 years working with integrative health practitioners & brands and continues to be a “voice of reason”.
